ABOUT KATHARINE
In 2011 Katharine graduated with her certified surgical technologist license. She was hired in the pediatric surgery unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon where she worked for two years. But she knew she wanted more. So in 2014 Katharine was accepted to nursing school at Mt. Hood Community College. She graduated in 2016 and immediately enrolled at Capella University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. At that point Katharine had a 3 month old baby girl and she accepted a clinic position at Columbia Asthma and Allergy. A couple months later her old manager from pediatric surgery reached out to her and asked if she would join their team. So in November 2017 she joined their team and has been there ever since. She is currently the team lead of the operating rooms.
When Katharine was working as a surgical technologist her favorite surgery to assist with was always plastics. She has always had an interest in aesthetics and knew that her nursing career would eventually lead her in that direction. She finally decided to get her aesthetic injector certification from Pacific Northwest Aesthetic Academy and is delighted to now be able to offer her services and skills to her own clients. Katharine is looking forward to being able to help her patients achieve their desired results and is eager to be the reason why they love how they look.
